As with past New York fashion weeks, I eschewed cab lines, crammed venues and crabby PR girls for my the virtual experience. I kid, I kid, of course–but my couch + Pinterest  + glass of vino suited me just fine for viewing this installment’s illustrious runways.

I’ve gotten pretty good at flying through the slideshows and instantly, almost instinctively flagging favorites based on very primal criteria.  Great color and shine and interesting cuts always attract the eye. Wearable (though I loathe the term) is also key. Remember, I need to at least pretend I have the money and a suitable function for most of these. And Peter Som…well, his frocks pretty much make all my lists.

Did I mention shine?  These sparkly numbers had me swooning.
