Friday (F)oto: Banksy

Sometimes there are no words.
We had a dinner party Friday night, hence the delay in my first installment of “Friday (F)oto.”
I snapped this one in Ljubljana, Slovenia, my favorite small European city we visited last year–a gem. It took several challenging bus rides from Trieste, Italy to get there, but it was worth it. We walked and biked along the river that snaked through the town’s center and marveled at the small artistic gestures: statues, public art installations (including one in which rain fell in one small area of the town); even the phone booths were chic (modern and very Jetson-like).
With the exception of the Metelkova area, graffiti was minimal, especially compared to other cities we visited. The center was pristine and lovely, but the lack of street art robbed me of my hobby of photographing it.
So maybe this question (Where is Banksy when you need him?) was an appropriate one to pose. Either way, it’s pretty comical.
